Description: Description: Up for sale is a beautiful Spode Copeland Rockingham Y5194 Single (1) Bread & Butter Plate. At the time this listing was written, multiple place setting pieces, extra pieces, and a few serving pieces were available in this pattern, so be sure and check out my many other lots! The bread & butter plate measures approximately 6.375” in diameter and most pieces in the set are marked with the following backstamp: “Spode Copeland China England Rd. No. 659905, Rockingham,” or a variation of that backstamp. The plate has a white/ivory base, a fruit/floral/insect motif design, and a mustard trim. The pattern is has been discontinued with the years of manufacture between 1950 and 1985. Condition: Overall, the bread & butter plates are in great condition and look to have been rarely used. The plates were acquired as part of a much larger set with little history known; however, no condition issues were noticed upon a thorough inspection. The pieces may show extremely light cleaning, storage, or utensil scratches. The mustard rim is also in good condition but may potentially show extremely light fading in some areas.
