Description: This large, 7.1 gram, fully polished, cabochon shaped specimen of all-natural authentic Dominican amber from the mines in the Dominican Republic contains an unusual find: a beautiful fan shaped inclusion with a small spider sitting in the middle of it! The fan shaped inclusion resembles a lily pad in shape. With this is a cricket nymph and a fulgoroid nymph. The fulgoroid nymph resembles a small frog. Fascinating indeed! A true collectors piece.Geological studies have dated Dominican amber to be between 17 and 20 million years old.The piece itself weighs 7.1 grams and has approximate dimensions of 3.7 cm length, 2.6 cm width, and 0.7 cm height.
