Description: SPECTACULAR 1/6 PLATE TINTYPE - ROYALTY QUEEN IN FULL ERMINE FUR OUTFIT & CROWN - When have you seen a royal lady in this fine attire on a sixth plate tintype before? I know I have seen a number of actresses captured on hard plates in my day, but none as fine as this beauty. She sits in a studio with one of the most elaborate costumes I have ever seen during the 19th Century. The crown with long white veil also matches her outstanding full length jacket made to look like an Ermine skin garment bestowed to the Royal Family. The photographer went to great lengths to place her against a rather appropriate looking backdrop and placed an ornate rug beneath her slippered feet. I have yet to mention her lovely facial features, but you cannot deny her regal beauty, am I not right?
