Description: THE REST OF THIS HISTORICAL FAMILY COLLECTION IS IN A SEPARATE LISTING…. Too much to list in one sale… read!! 5 important cabinet cards & b&w photos made from those. Also there is an actual war photo included in this pack. (I don’t think that’s an original photo I believe it’s a photo of a photo) You get everything you see here. READ THE BACKS OF THE CARDS!! It tells you who these people are. Colonel Thomas Holmes & defendants ( in this pack, his wife & kids & then the kids grown … and then the rest of the family or parts of it anyway through it looks like about the 40s or 50s. The other packet has 11 cabinet cards you will need to look at those separately. The two most important pictures in this pack in my opinion are the WAR photo (has a crease/ fold in it) and then the one on the bottom left of the colonels wife and two children. Please remember to see the other listing if this one is of interest to you because they do overlap. I basically had to break this huge lot into two separate listings. First of all they were found in separate packages, we n the same area, but the people certainly do and the family history does overlap. Obviously these were all brought in together & document a very prominent family during the Spanish American war conflict & the descendants who also served. All affiliated with Rough Riders & Spanish American War then the descendants are here also. Found in the George Fulmer photographer’s estate before demolition in Clearwater Florida in 2014. Unclaimed photos. The family history is mostly written on the back of the one card but there are notes and names on the others. I could make this a very lengthy ad but you’re welcome to do the research on the people that are here. This is an important family with military ties throughout several generations. The Colonel Thomas Holmes, Pictured with his family in January 1899, would’ve been right after the end of the war where he was the head of the US Armed hospital in Cebu Philippines. Apparently then his son and grandson both served in other parts of the Armed Forces I have no idea why these were found still in the estate & why they were never picked up. The cabinet cards were obviously brought there for the making of black-and-white prints, which are also included in your purchase here. See our store for more photos from this massive estate!!
