Partial shark tooth of extinct fossil Megalodon; tooth is 3-1/2" long (missing upper portions of both sides of the tooth; BEAUTIFUL GOLDEN BROWN NATURAL COLOR due to the minerals it absorbed in the sediment where it fossilized). Non jewelry quality, but awesome! As with all our products, you get exactly what you see in the photo. An extinct species of shark (Carcharodon megalodon) that was the size of a school bus (46 to 59 feet long), with (up to) 7 inch teeth. Among the most collected teeth due to their size. Age: 25 million to 1.5 million years old, Cenozoic Era (late Oligocene to early Pleistocene).
