Description: Soviet Russian USSR WWII medal Order of the Patriotic War 2nd Class with serial number in the 450-500k range, researched, awarded in 1945 to Major Aleksei Liseenko, an officer of Soviet Polish Forces!Liseenko was awarded the present Order of the Patriotic War as assistant chief of military railways for the 2nd Polish Army, with the citation praising his skill and leadership in supporting the army's deployment since its initial formation, despite insufficient quantities of equipment.Liseenko was previously awarded an Order of the Red Star for the same role. He was earlier awarded a Bravery Medal as commandant of a railway station. Scarce award to Soviet Polish Forces! Condition is as seen in the images! Because of the Service Record portrait of Liseenko wearing his awards, it is clear that this Patriotic War suffered damage while in his possession has been preserved in its original condition as worn by its recipient. The serial number of the award is authentic and matches the serial number shown in the archival documents, obviously!
