Disc insertion, ejection, play, stop, and song selection have all been checked (on both the main unit and the remote control) and it is in perfect working order.It produces great sound.The sound is of high quality, with both sharpness and clarity.However, while it is easy to check playback, I was unable to figure out how to record without the instruction manual.Optical digital recording and playback have not been checked as I do not have the appropriate equipment.MDLP function is not included in the specifications.There are no functional issues, but unfortunately there is discoloration rather than dirt on the top panel.
