Library copy, with expected inserts, stamps and inscriptions. Gilt top text block edges. Rough-cut pages are lightly tanned; slightly more pronounced to text block edges. Faint dust marks to edges and towards the start and end of the book, with some faint thumb-marking. Folded frontispiece still present with small tears to folds. Binding throughout is firm. Boards have noticeable edge wear with corner bumping. Leather peeling to spine and corners with noticeable scuffing. Faint black marks to all surfaces, with small stains to rear. Book has a slight forward lean. Gilt lettering is bright and clear. This book has been inspected carefully by hand by trained book valuers to ensure the condition description is as accurate as possible for this exact copy pictured.
