Battery save works, and the manual is in Acceptable condition, with a bit of sticker residue on the front. The binding on the book is a bit worn, but the staples are solidly intact and there is no writing. The pages on the inside are very good and crisp when turning the page, so be sure and handle it like you are handling a 30 year old paperback. This game is a gem. The story can help you think and feel about your being not merely a human, but a living creature. Made by Quintet and published by Enix, the crew led by Tomoyoshi Miyazaki that made all the Quintet games put a lot of effort into their programming. This game is a good find and a solid investment. You won't be sorry with this one!!
