Description: Ceramic Self-Watering African Violet Pot This uniquely painted ceramic self-watering pot was handcrafted in central Mexico. The artist used a modified cuerda seca technique to create the beautiful and unusual artwork. Its smaller size would be appropriate for smaller (even mini) african violets, or could be used for other types of small plants as well. Plant in the center insert and place inside the outer pot which serves as the water reservoir. Water is absorbed through the unglazed portion of the center insert. The outer pot is about 3 1/4" deep and is 5" in diameter. The insert has a planting area that measures ~ 2 3/4" diameter X 2 1/4" deep.
