The length is fixed (not adjustable), please measure carefully. This style collar is designed for sighthounds or other breeds with small heads, to make it difficult for the dog to back out of the collar. The collar should be about 1/4" - 1/2" longer that the neck measurement. Would work well for an Italian Greyhound, Min-Pin, Chihuahua, Maltese, Chinese Crested, Shih Tuz, or other small breed.
