The pot is made in the country of Japan an island country locates in the North Pacific Ocean. The tea pot is hand cast in a mold filled with molten iron and the mold is made to display a pattern of blooming cherry blossoms on the finished piece as cherry blossoms are found almost everywhere in Japan in the Spring of the year. Besides the beautiful cherry blossom pattern displayed all over the pot and its tiny lid the pot features a sturdy carrying handle a small spout, a lid with a tiny cherry blossom branch on top, and a tiny steam hole also on top of the lid to let steam out while you favorite pot of tea is steeping. The inside of the tea pot is clean and slippery to the touch, and included in this sale is an infuser used to spoon tea leaves into it and strain them with a small lifting handle on it to lift it out of the pot when your done drinking your tea. or if you prefer a tea bag the pot can be used this way as well. This marvelous tea pot is so small it is almost a curio piece for display in a curio cabinet with glass doors on it and it has a 1 cup capacity making a tea pot for one or what is called personal tea pot.
