Description: This Huipil has been handwoven on a back strap loom in the Mayan Community of Zinacantan in the highlands of Chiapas Mexico. The Base color is Maroon and Gold and the details done in a mix of other bright colors. The weaving on this Huipil alternates between tight weaving and rows of very loose weaving. This is a really lovely huipil and sure to please!!This medium weight cotton measures 21 inches across (total 42 inches around) and 28 inches Long (including the fringe) it will fit a Small to Medium Size Woman. It is a wonderful example of contemporary fashion trends such as, Frida Kahlo, Fiesta, Santa Fe, Hippie, Boho, Peasant, Gypsy, South Western, Cowgirl Style.
