Description: An incredible sixty (60) piece Christofle France "Aria" silverplate flatware set, all pieces featuring this pattern's distinctive ribbed handle. Set includes twelve five-piece place settings, with (12) dinner forks, approx. 8"l, (12) salad forks, approx. 6.5"l, (12) oval soup spoons, approx. 7.5", (12) coffee/tea spoons, approx. 6"l, and (12) French hollow knives with stainless steel blades, approx. 9.5"l. Overall, these pieces are in fair pre owned condition, displaying general wear consistent with prior use, including heavy tarnish, all over surface scratches/scuffs, what appear to be some scattered water droplet stains (mainly to knife blades), small nicks (particularly to fork tines), and a slightly bent tine to two dinner forks - see pictures. A few pieces were polished to demonstrate how fantastic this set could look once cleaned up! Stamped below fork tines and on spoon bowls with "Christofle, France" and the "OC" horse and scales marks. Knives are stamped twice on their handles with the "OC" horse mark and etched on their blades "Christofle, France."
