Description: Available now are young plants of Sinningia 'Esther' x self. I've seen this described as a peloric form of cardinalis, but while it has some similarities, the foliage on these is distinct from cardinalis. So I'm not sure. But I can tell you that the flower photo shown is the mother plant, who was self-pollinated to lead to this population of seedlings. So far their foliage has shape and texture very like their mother, but they are not quite big enough to have bloomed for the first time. I'm interested to see if we get any variation. These are young plants with approximately 1cm tubers and a nice tuft of shrubby foliage going. You will get one of the plants shown or one similar in size.
