She is 17" with a bisque socket head free from chips, cracks, hairlines and damage... she is so clean, I don't even see wig pulls. Gorgeous ethnic features, smooth and evenly toned light brown cafe-au-lait complexion, brown glass sleep eyes with operational sleep mechanism, dark eyeliner, dark painted lashes, black brush-stroked brows with slight modeled detail, accented nostrils, open mouth with coral-shaded lips, four porcelain teeth, clean pierced ears, original black mohair wig with pate, original brown composition and wooden ball-jointed body in original finish and superb condition, wearing a well-detailed factory original antique costume.... Look at those old brass buttons in the front!! Hat and earrings are not original, but dress, boots, stockings, pantaloons are. She is MINT. I do not want to undress her completely. I don't think she has ever been undressed. She is a treasure coveted by collectors and very seldom seen in factory original condition. Condition: Very fine preservation. Marks: 1358 Germany Simon & Halbig S&H 5, circa 1900. Value Points: Exceedingly rare character doll in original state, outstanding modeling, smooth complexion and painting of features, original body finish to perfectly match facial complexion.
