May also be grown out side in warmer climates.LIGHT REQUIREMENTSThis plant requires bright to moderate indirect light. They do not do well in direct sunlight since the sun will burn the foliage.WATER REQUIREMENTSScindapsus like their soil to be kept on the drier side. Water small amounts frequently to avoid rot. When leaves curl, it is an indication of under watering. During the spring and summer, water well and then allow the top 1-2" of the soil to dry out before watering again. The higher the light and temperature the more water it will require. Lower light, it will need less. Check moisture with finger every 4-5 days to avoid wilting. HUMIDITY PREFERENCEThis plant will do well in low humidity environments, but will thrive with a bit more humidity. Brown leaf tips may indicate the air is too dry. PLANT FOODAn easy indoor plant, and you don’t need to worry about fertilizing this one a lot. Feed it every 6 months with a general purpose indoor plant fertilizer.ADDITIONAL CARETrim out any dead, discolored, damaged, or diseased leaves and stems as they occur. Use clean, sharp scissors to avoid tearing or bruising the stems. Snip stems just above a leaf node.
