Up for your consideration is this Spectacular vintage NICE looking MID CENTURY DARK CHOCOLATE BROWN AM Tube Radio in GREAT Playing condition. The model number on this Stunning looking radio is 2015 & it was produced around the 1954 era. This was an extremely popular radio when it was introduced in 1950's & unique Mid Century style. This is still a fairly popular & desirable radio by today's standards. I have taken many pictures so you may get a good view at this WONDERFUL Looking MID CENTURY Modern Retro Radio & it Plays GREAT! The cabinet on this Beauty is made of DARK CHOCOLATE BROWN BAKELITE plastic that has been cleaned & polished which still Produces a Super Nice shine & that shine just keeps on going & going & going like the Energizer Bunny & SPECTACULAR looking! The AM dial scale with a Nice "SILVERTONE" Logo & a gold tone border is in great condition with good graphics as well as a New Nice Bright Working Dial light. The bakelite lattis Speaker grill adds a Super nice touch to the style of the cabinet & the speaker grill cloth is in Nice condition as well. The 3-Brown plastic control knobs with Brass metal inserts are in great condition. There is no back panel but a partial panel that holds the Antenna. The antenna system mounts onto the inside of that partial back panel & is in great working condition which needs no additional antenna wire to receive Great AM reception. The original paper label on the bottom is in good condition. The chassis is in great condition & it is a 6-tube unit with 3-controls & all controls have been lubricated & are in great working condition. The 3-controls are from left to right 1-ON/OFF/VOLUME, 2-TONE & the 3rd is TUNING. The tube line up is One-35C5, One-35L6, Two-12SK7, One-12SQ7 & One-12SA7. The chassis has had all new electrolytic capacitor/filters installed & wax/paper capacitors were replaced as needed. The Electric Cord is in Great condition that can be safely plugged in.This SILVERTONE Radio has been restored to good working condition. This radio picks up Many AM stations in my area & plays them nicely with plenty of volume. now with all this being said about how nice looking this radio looks & it does look "fantastic" but it is still a vintage piece of electronics & with all my vintage electronics it is being SOLD IN "AS IS" condition with NO warranty.This "SILVERTONE" AM RADIO would make an Excellent addition to your radio collection or as a stand alone radio as it's power & beauty will surely be the talk of the room by all whom enter. The "APPROXIMATE" sized of this Fabulous gem is 14" Long, 6-1/2" Wide/Deep & 6-3/4" High. PLEASE READ This is a vintage radio & must be handled & cared for & treated in this manor & not like a modern day boombox. Tube radio technology "unlike modern day solid state radios" can have interference/noise in the sound quality, caused by kitchen appliances, computer monitors, flat screen TV'S, florescent lights, washing machines, high power wires above your home, etc... So where you position/place this radio in your home can make a huge difference & the direction/position it is set in. A LOT OF TUBE RADIOS ARE DIRECTIONAL MEANING YOU "MAY" HAVE TO TURN THE RADIO IN ONE DIRECTION OR ANOTHER TO RECEIVE THE BEST RECEPTION.
