Description: *** (Doll is not included) Two piece (dress and silk ribbon hair bow) silk dress of a lovely dusty cream with pale blue hair bow of silk ribbon. Fits 7 1/2" - 8 inch slender all bisque doll (5 1/4 inch chest). Two pieces: Dusty cream shantung silk dress with a gathered drop waist and a pale blue silk bonnet with handmade silk ribbon buds and bows rosette trim. Dress is from a lovely dusty shade of cream shantung silk fabric (lined bodice from batiste fabric) embellished with gorgeous fine antique lace down the front of the bodice, handmade handmade hairpin trim, blue silk ribbon, antique cotton trim, french cotton lace, and handmade pastel color silk ribbon rosettes. If there is a bow: The back ribbon that makes the bow is intentionally long so as to be adjusted for your personal preference along with being easier to retie if needed to be done so. The ends can be trimmed if desired. Sometimes I have it tied in a double bow. This dress will fit an approximate 7 1/2 inch doll with a 5 1/4" inch around the chest just under the arms measurement. This dress has a generous cut to the neck and arm openings to accommodate antique dolls. The back of the dress closes with tiny snaps. **** The doll used as a model measures just 7 1/2 inches tall with a 5 1/4 inch chest measurement and is not included. Be sure to study the measurements next to the dress for a fitting. Dupioni silk fabric has bits of nubs and is not smooth so please be aware of this as a characteristic of the fabric and is not a flaw. Vintage/Antique fabric and/or trim may have bits of imperfection and discoloration due to aging so please be aware if this.
