Description: Iconic functional art pottery, the Sittin' Chicken Cooker was handmade by Clyde Gobble in his Lexington, North Carolina workshop. He died in 2014, but his creations continue to be very desirable. The pictures that we have included of Clyde were taken by our daughter who assisted him in his workshop for two summers. She says he was a lively fun person who waterskiied even after he was 80 years old. Directions for the chicken cooker are included and are pictured here. The tall well holds whatever liquid you want to infuse into the chicken as it bakes. Traditionally it is for a can of beer. The cooker measures about 11" in diameter (not including spouts) and is about 3 3/4" high. From a smoke free and pet free home. Ships USPS Ground Advantage to the US only.
