Description: ‘Aug Moreau’ is signed onto the bases. Auguste Moreau was an important French sculptor, who was active in the late 19th and early 20th Century in France. Auguste was born into a prestigious family of sculptors, which included Jean-Baptiste, Hippolyte and Mathurin Moreau. these were bought from an estate sale. Material seems to be bronze. The lamp pictured on the right does not turn on, the one on the right does. Left figure also is not completely fixated to base and can be rotated. They are about 30 inches tall. some signs of wear, please view all images before buying, sold as is.
