Description: Nice original box, early 20th century. Carved Lacquer, often called "white cinnabar" by collectors although not true cinnabar. Please view pictures, lid sits slightly off center (I'm sure the fix is easy if desired with the simple hinge mechanism, but it's slight enough not to bother me). Carving looks nice, pictures included, some wear over time. Gorgeous box to display or use as a trinket or jewelry box!
