Description: This is a rare November 12th, 1919 program (playbill) from the one-night, Post-Broadway engagement of the SIGMUND ROMBERG and RIDA JOHNSON YOUNG musical "MAYTIME" at F. F. Proctor's New Theatre in Troy, New York. (The Original Broadway production opened August 16th, 1917 at the Shubert Theatre in New York City, transferred on February 18th, 1918 to the 44th Street Theatre, moved to the Broadhurst Theatre on April 1st, 1918, followed by a move to the Lyric Theatre on August 5th, 1918 and returned to the Broadhurst Theatre on September 9th, 1918, running for 492 performances while simultaneously playing on the road.) ..... There is heavy creasing, several small edge tears, slight discoloration and moderate edge wear. Despite these flaws, this rare playbill will make a wonderful addition to the collection of any musical theatre aficionado or historian. This item will be carefully packaged in a protective, carded sleeve and backed by stiff cardboard.
