Description: Sigma 70-210mm IA Power Zoom lens for Minolta Maxxum AF (and Sony?). It has an issue; the entire lens, from the manual focus ring at the front to the zoom ring at the rear, is covered in a a sticky residue. I don’t think anything has been spilled on it, I think the plastic construction has degraded. I have tried GooGone, Simple Green cleaner, even rubbing alcohol, with no luck, just turning my towel black. The optics look good, nothing wrong there! It’s priced accordingly.
