Lower parts is screw in and upper part is twist on type. If it does not fit your lens, you can mail it back. But you will have to pay for shipping it back. Lens Hood is not chipped or dented. I don't see any defects on the item itself. Item has been used with little signs of cosmetic use, rim may have some light wear from normal use. But it is not damaged in any way, no cracks or dents.
