Showcase Peugeot PX-10 Bicycle Fully Restored L’Eroica Ready

Description: For sale is a real show case item. A 62 cm (c-c), 64 cm (c-t), with a 59 cm top tube 1973 Peugeot PX-10, fully painted, renovated, and restored to be a replica of the Bernard Thevenet 1973 Champion de France Peugeot team issue. This is the bike that directly preceded the PY-10 that came out only months later. Please see picture The awesome: Frame: Peugeot PX-10, Reynolds 531 throughout. White (not black painted) lugs per Thevenet's ‘73 bike. Brand new professional white powder coat with new authentic decals and 531 decals as well. Cranks: Stronglight 93 170 mm with new Atom/Lyotard French threaded pedals and new Christophe double bonded toe clips, new white toe straps and new red strap buttons. SR/Sakae bottom bracket. Suntour winner ultra 6 freewheel, 14-19 New Sedisport chain. Derailleurs: Like-New Simplex Super LJ Gold Anodized Front and Rear, same as Thevenet’s bike. New Simplex retro-friction gear levers, not anodized. Ideale 2001 saddle, used. Reconditioned and dyed. Brakes: Mafac 2000 calipers with fully hooded Mafac levers with new (generic) gum hoods and wheel guides. NOS Philippe professional stem with Philippe Giro D’Italia bars. The Excellent: Stronglight competition headset. Araya Super Hard Anodized tubular rims. These are obviously not authentic to the Thevenet bike. New Victoria Rally 25-28 tubular tires. TIRES HAVE NOT BEEN GLUED TO RIMS. SR Laprade seatpost. Not Authentic: Araya rims. Hubs are the excellent Suntour Superbe models and run incredibly well. But Thevenet would have used Maillard or Campy hubs. Nevertheless, these are fantastic wheels. BUYER UNDERSTANDS THAT TUBULAR TIRES HAVE NOT BEEN GLUED TO RIMS AND THIS MUST FIRST BE DONE BEFORE RIDING THIS BICYCLE.
