Description: Circa 1987 Shimano Sport LX Double Crankset, made in Japan. NOS / New / Unused. Model FC-A452. Forged, 42/52t Biopace chainrings, 165mm arm lengths. 5 arm, 130 bolt circle. Includes original crank bolts. Crankset is unused, but at some point I had mocked it up for a potential build, so pedals were installed and removed. Shimano suggests a 115mm bottom bracket spindle length. Compatible with modern Shimano cartridge bottom brackets and standard cup and cone. Hard to find NOS, especially in the 165mm arm lengths as most were 170mm or 175mm. Only made in 1987 and 1988. Nicely finished, from the golden era of Shimano.
