This a vintage 1960's and possibly early 1970's SHEAFFER mechanical pencil, it uses a Standard size lead, it may be 0.9 mm size lead, you extend and retract the lead by turning the top part while holding the barrel with the other hand. This pencil is in excellent conditions, there are no cracks, no bite marks, the black plastic barrel has the following printed in white letters "Automotive Services Research", this pencil has the original eraser, it is hard, you will have to replace it.Please look at the pictures before committing to buy.
