Description: She and Him-"Volume One"-Merge records, MRG 324, originally released in 2008. This a well cared for and rarely played LP by the duo of Zooey Deschanel and Matt Ward, who initially met and formed their duo in 2006. This album was initially reviewed as Starbucks friendly music, similar to Feist, The Decemberists and Regina Spektor. Zooey Deschanel wrote most of the songs on this album with the exception of "You Really Got A Hold On Me" and "I Should have Known Better" and "Swing Low Sweet Chariot". Personally we like this album a lot and do not think it deserves any genre label for category isolation. If you listen and you like it, that's all that matters! We like it and you will too! The vinyl has been cleaned and play tested using an Audio Technica ATLP120XUSB turntable. It does play wonderfully. The songs are sweet and pleasant. The cover and the original insert are in VG+ condition. This record was well care for by a previous owner. We will pack the record securely in a cardboard record mailer and ship it using USPS media mail rates. If you buy it please play it as often as you can and enjoy it for what it is. Maybe pass it on to another when you are ready. We love records! Thanks for reading our post.
