Description: Here is a real blast from back when Saturday Mornings were just beginning to blossom from just old rerun westerns, to the great fun and original cartoon and live action shows made just for us kids. All on one DVD We start out with, what might be one of the only surviving Shari Lewis Shows, from NBC in 1961. The very beginning or opening title is missing, and the show opens up with Shari and Lambchop doing a commercial for Matey Bubble Bath. The main theme is about " Charlie Horse's Birthday ". Charlie gets a new watch from Mr. Goodfellow (Ronald Radd), and he begins to feel humbled by all the kind things people have done for him, and he wants to be nicer to everyone... but no one believes him. Shari does a couple of song and dance numbers (She was SOOOO beautiful and talented!!!), and does another skit with Charlie and Lambchop, and Hushpuppy. There are also commercials for Remco Little Red Spinning Wheel, Tiny Tears Doll, and a live Cracker Jack with Charlie Horse, and the closing Titles are there. This is a great early NBC Kinescope... and very RARE Next is another NBC TV show from 1963... The Ruff and Reddy (which I have every episode in color) Show with Captain Bob "Cottle". The show features some live action sequences with Capt. Bob and Jasper, another character on the show. There are three Ruff and Reddy cartoons from the "Asleep While A Creep Steals A Sheep" story. There are commercials for Yipes Stripes Fruit Stripe Gum, a memorable Girl Scouts commercial with girls making pottery on a potters wheel, A Chocks vitamins commercial with Paul Winchell (part of it is silent). Next is a promo for The Shari Lewis Show, a public service announcement for physical fitness with Bud Wilkinson, followed by two more NBC promos, for the Ensign O Toole show, and Walt Disney's Wonderful World of Color. Third is a complete Network 2nd season King Leonardo and His Short Subjects with Two full King and Odie episodes, and a Tutor Turtle and a Hunter Episode, and a Rare TWINKLES episode, "Twinkles and The Swimming Pool". The commercials are mostly General Mills and Include Frosty O's with Frosty the Bear, the new Twinkles Cereal, a great and one of the first NEW LUCKY CHARMS commercials, and Sugar Jets with ZOT, one of the characters from an Underdog episode, but before Underdog was on the air, and lastly another Frosty O's commercial. Finally, a complete Network episode of Fury, entitled "Witch", about a mean lady who doesn't care about anything or anyone but herself, until she gets in a jam. The commercials are for Kool Aid and an early Kool Pops commercial with some animated and some live action, a spot for Nabisco Fig Newtons, and Nabisco Shredded Wheat with a free Totem Pole premium. Its all early Saturday Morning, and It's all NBC This all comes on one two hour DEEVEEDEE -R I had to add the prop 65 warning, because it comes in a plastic case! You will be delighted with this, and my other shows. RETURNS ARE NOT ACCEPTED ON THIS ITEM RETURNS ARE NOT ACCEPTED ON THIS ITEM RETURNS ARE NOT ACCEPTED ON THIS ITEM
