Includes JB Jr SJBJ-1b bridge, Duckbucker SDBR-1n middle, Lilttle 59 SL59-1n neck. What does it sound like? This 3 pickup set turns your Strat into a ultimate versatile workhorse with a wide variety of tonal options. The JB Jr. bridge model will take your Strats bridge position to a whole new level. This high output single coil sized humbucker will give you nice crunchy chords, and screaming lead tone with that classic upper midrange cut. There will be tons of bright harmonic sparkle, and a tight focused low end. The middle position Duckbucker is there to add that sparkly single coil tone in positions 2, 3, & 4. Its unique, split-pole pattern with 3 poles on each coil, also contributes to the single coil bounciness and snappy low end. The Little 59 in the neck position has a nice, balanced P.A.F.-like response for big, full chords, and fat, punchy solos. It has that pleasing blend of warmth and bite when you dig in. Hand built in Santa Barbara, CA, these pickups all use a ceramic bar magnet, come with a 4-conductor lead wire for multiple wiring options, and are wax potted for squeal free operation. 19 TONE WIRING HARNESS This is a pre-wired Stratocaster wiring harness upgrade for H/S/H American or Mexican Fender Stratocasters. Hand wired with the highest quality parts and cleanest solder connections from a professional guitar tech. With the Seymour Duncan Everything Axe pickup set and this harness you will have a Swiss army knife for tones. WHAT DOES IT DO? COIL SPLITTING-An easy access push/pull pot on the volume control allows you to split the neck and bridge Little 59 and JB JR humbuckers in to single coils. This produces a bright and jangly strat tone. This also brings the smoother and softer chime when using the neck and middle or bridge and middle (2 and 4) positions on the five way. PHASE SWITCH-The middle knob is a push/pull that allows you to reverse the phase of the middle pickup. This allows for 'out of phase' tones when using the neck or bridge pickup with the middle pickup. When two pickups are out of phase it produces a very destinct tone kind of like a wah pedal half way on. You get a squaky snarly sound that is great for funk rhythms and leads. The out of phase sound was made popular by guitar players like Jimmy Page and Brian May and can be heard in many Led Zepplin and Queen songs. Note: the middle knob also severs as a master tone. BLEND POT-The bottom tone has been changed into a blend pot that allows you to blend the neck and bridge pickups together. This produces a unique tone similar to a telecaster in the middle position. It has a balanced bass and treble response with a softer attack. Sounds great for rhythms. When the blender is all the way up on 10 there will be no effect on the tone. The more you turn the knob down the more the neck and bridge pickups blend together. TREBLE BLEED MOD-Have you ever noticed how the tone gets muddy and lacks definition when you roll the volume back on the guitar? The treble bleed mod's purpose is to retain your high end or treble response when cutting back on the volume. I have spent a lot of time playing around with different caps and resistors to find the perfect treble bleed mod. The roll off of the volume is smooth and retains a clear bright signal at lower volumes. 19 DIFFERENT TONES!
