Description: Antique painted spiral Glass Buttons- Pre WWII This listing is for a set of 4 fabulous European glass buttons. They are a very beautiful soft pink with an accenting color wash. The paint gives a whimsical character however they are not washable. They measure 1/2 inch across and are self shank buttons. These have never been used or been in circulation before. These buttons come from a card of 24 buttons that were manufactured For the Haute Couture Houses in the early 1900’s. I removed them from the original card and sewn them to one reproduced from the same era. The buttons were purchased them from a family member of the original business owners in Europe that had them in storage since WW11. These are wonderful pieces of history that can only add to your crafting projects. These buttons have been stored for more than 70 years so time has stood still for them and they are in new condition. You will not be disappointed in these beauties.
