This is the complete set of holidays: Valentines Day, Halloween, Christmas and Easter. Includes the original boxes which have random wear and foxing from age, as shown. Dolls measure approximately: 14” tall. Packing inside boxes will vary as shown. From a non smoking household. Circa early 1990’s. Product sheet indicates the head, arms and legs are expertly crafted of fine bisque porcelain and each is lovingly painted by hand. Outfits are very detailed. Each has their small accessories. All but one (Halloween girl) has their certificate of authenticity and original price card as shown in the photo-The Halloween is missing both COA/price card. Cardboard inserts/packing etc inside boxes will vary as shown. Each doll has her stand. One stand has a small rust spot. The Melissa Collection is by award winning doll artist, Elke Hutchens and is available exclusively from the Danbury Mint. A true story about these dolls. A grandmother bought them, as a present and investment for her grand-daugher. The set was proudly displayed in the grand-daughters bedroom until she had a sleep over --and one of the girls told her, she saw them move at night.
