Description: Lot of 4 footed cup and saucer sets in the Stunning Coalport Athlone Blue pattern. Cobalt Blue, bright white, with gold bands and a thick gold rim. Fine Bone China made in England between 1970 and 1993. Cups are 3 inches tall and are known as "Duchess" cups. These seem to be somewhat rare. This is one of the nicest sets of bone china I have seen -- it just feels rich, smooth, and well-made. Such an elegant set.
