The tubes are made of borosilicate glass 3.3 with uniform wall thickness for optimal heat transfer. A large white label patch is present. Each tube comes attached to a black phenolic, rubber-lined screw cap, with 15-415 threads. Because they are not labeled, we are not 100% sure if these are plain rubber-lined caps or PTFE-lined rubber caps (catalogue number 45066C-15), but we are fairly sure they are the latter. They have a beige color consistent with PTFE and they look just like PTFE-rubber 45066C caps we have for sale elsewhere (at the time of this listing).
