Each plate was completely hand painted, especially the roses have enamel/ Guilloche effect, decorative by high skilled craftsmanship. These were sold in Shreive Crump & Lowe, one of the most high-end department store in New York. I found these in an estate sale located in Manhasset, NY. They are in very condition, I found 1 minor scratch on the turquoise color plate, and minor gold wear on gilding.
