Condition is serviced including full disassembly, two new wind belt and capstan belt replacement, vertical shooting pinch roller removal, clean up, both pinch roller track clean up and lube, all six head and tape travel path clean up, all head demagnetizing, all spinning potentiometer Deox, full power supply recap. Performance is good with good playback/recording, winding is fixed by replacing belts and pinch roller clean up. It still will slow down at the very end but this is something what was design by AKAI and nobody can change it. It starts real strong and gradually will slow down as the tape goes. All recording input, output and other toggle switches are working. Deck does have some scratches and dings. Nothing big and it will not affect the performance of it. Main picture shows motor belt replacement, then FF, playback and recording. Following pictures work done and looks. Sold as serviced and working vintage AKAI GX - 77 open reel to reel deck.
