Binding well and heavily age worn but still appealing, leather and joints scuffed, spine leather chipped, remains overall attractive as an object. A good example of how a book looks which has been read heavily by early owners. An early owner has written on the detached front blank fly leaf his name and the price he paid "0-10-6" (British monetary system). Text block paper is well age toned as typical. Still attractive on the shelf. Book displays a unique age patina the age flaws seem easy to overlook or forgive. Please review photos for more detailed attempt to present this book as it survives.
