Historically important for corporate archivists, these are extremely rare to locate and are virtually unseen individually. The original lithographs were produced in only one edition, and included just 2,000. These lithographs are perhaps the most unique, rare, important advertising collectibles that exist for businesses and corporations.About the Artist: A painter and graphic artist, Seong Moy was born in Canton, China, and came to the United States in 1931. He studied painting at the Saint Paul School of Minneapolis and then went to New York, where he studied with Vaclav Vytlacil and Hans Hofmann in 1941 and 1942. Although Mr. Moy began as an accomplished painter in the 1940s, his reputation today rests chiefly upon his printmaking. He is considered an innovator of technique and vision in his graphic work, developed over nearly five decades. At the height of the Depression, he began his art studies as a teenager at the WPA Federal Art Project. He continued his art education at the St. Paul School of Art under Cameron Booth, and the WPA Graphic Workshop at the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis, MN.
