It consisted of an Aerobee 150 or Aerobee Hi with a Sparrow upper stage. It was also known as the “Spaerobee”. Because of the much higher altitudes it could achieve, it was only flown from Fort Churchill in Canada. The Aerobee 300 was flown by the Air Force, Navy and NASA over a span of seven years.
