Defects will be noted.   VERY GOOD. Abbreviated as VG, VG +/—is the lowest of what I consider Collectible grade, not Hi-Grade. Overall, it should be a nice and bright copy. Not all defects will be noted. However, it will be complete.    GOOD. Abbreviated G or GD. In Book Seller parlance, this means an average copy showing wear, not a collectible-grade copy. Defects Will NOT be noted. However, it will be complete.    READING COPY/FAIR/POOR. It is abbreviated as RC. This is a reading copy that shows considerable wear. It is well below a collector’s grade.
