Description: The Sky-Pod is designed to fit most 4” speakers, projecting rich sound directly toward the driver and passenger to enhance audio quality in your Jεεp CJ or Wranglεr. Made from durable plastic, it attaches securely to the windshield frame using the existing footman-loop screw holes and included hardware. Fender washers and screws ensure a firm hold, and the footman loop can be reattached on top for compatibility with bikini tops. The Sky-Pod doesn’t interfere with hard or soft tops, visors, or the rear-view mirror. For wiring, Jεεp Wranglεr installations typically involve tucking wires in the windshield gasket, routing them along the roll-bar padding down to the amplifier or radio. In CJ models, the wires can be tucked into the windshield gasket, passing through the wiper motor wire hole. The installation instructions provide options for routing the wires based on your specific model, including guidance for ’03-’06 models with Head Impact Trim. If you have an ’03-’06 Wranglεr or UnIimited, installation involves removing the center plastic trim piece, allowing the speaker wires to be neatly hidden behind it.
