It was the first wristwatch in the world to have a dive table function. The horizontal advanced model is well-known but the model presented here is not so well-known. The difference from the advanced model is the maximum depth that can be measured/calculated. The advanced model measures up to 99.9 meters while this model measures up to 80 meters. The Scubamaster is a "diver's watch" so it is positioned as a "watch. However it is a dive computer. The LCD is dark and the buttons can be operated and the internal illumination light can be used without any problems. It is a bit larger than the Seiko Diver which has a large case and is very powerful as a wristwatch. The exterior of the watch has some signs of use but it remains in good condition for a diver's model. On the back of the watch there is a traditional Seiko waterproof mark called the "wave head mark.
