It uses CR2032 x2. We will include new battery but not inside of the VMU. You need a phillips screwdriver to access the battery port. We tested by plugging it into the controller as well as with the battery outside of the controller. All buttons are responsive as well. VVMU is region free and you can have both regions of game data in the same VMU as well. Condition: Used. Cleaned and Tested and in good working condition. You will receive Visual Memory Unit x 1.
