Description: Seattle WashingtonGroup of Natives Igorrote Village Alaska Yukon Pacific ExpositionUnposted - 1909 This is a vintage antique postcard of a scene at the Alaska Yukon Pacific Exposition - Seattle Washington in 1909. Igorrote villagers from the newly acquired American territory of the Philippine Islands were brought to the United States to be put on "display" at different Expositions and World Fairs in the early 20th century. These villagers were to go about their lives, scantly clad and eating dogs much to the shock and dismay of the paying public. It is in good unposted condition with some wear at the upper tips. (see photos for a better idea of the condition). A great card for any collection of Expo memorabilia. Don't miss out, add this vintage postcard to your collection today! Seller location # p-2s
