Description: This is a 3D printed replacement part for the discontinued Seadoo Part Number 293720005 Small Gauge Support. Unfortunately the OEM parts are made from rubber that decays in the sun over time. I designed and made these for my 1998 Seadoo 951 XP Limited, but I am sure it fits other models like a 1996 GTI and earlier XP, SPX with a little modification/trimming. As long as it calls for the OEM 293720005 rubber mount and the gauge has a threaded middle (and you have access to the back of the gauge to tighten the nut) this should work to support the gauge in the dash. I got tired of my VTS and Gas gauge flopping in the dash! You can't buy a new replacement and good used stuff is getting scarce. These get the job done and look nice. On the fourth season of use on my XPL, both 3D printed gauge supports have performed perfectly and showing no signs of failing or fading. This is a three piece set up. The gauge slides in a bezel, cog on bottom for line up with dash, little slot for the gauge to line up inside bezel. Unhook wires from gauge, pull gauge out. Slide the bezel and gauge in dash, spacer goes over the bezel in the back of dash to take up the space. The spacer can be separated easily along the layers with a utility knife to make the spacer shorter for thicker dash. Then the nut goes on. ABS shrinks as it cools, the threaded nut is smaller on one side, start the big end and it will tighten as it goes on. Finger tight snug is good on the nut, no need to over tighten, the 3D printing might separate if too tight. Had to redesign the nut so the ears wouldn't interfere with the Large Gauge support if used, the new nut is a spanner type nut. Pictures are of the old style nut. These are 3D printed with ABS filament on glass plate on a raft. ABS is the same stuff the glue together model cars/trucks we made as kids. It is tuff, flexible and you can file, drill, sand, tap, model glue and spray paint ABS. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks for your interest in my products!
