Description: Beatles Awesome #3 2nd State Butcher Cover w/Record Please read entire description/auction terms prior to bidding on this item. Thank You Please save this #3 Scranton Butcher Cover from a fate worse than death - Another Mediocre Peel by an amateur ! Each week unfortunate Butcher Victims of mediocre peels keep being listed at high prices. Here's your chance to STOP THE INSANITY ! LOL :) Most advanced collectors know that Butcher Covers are not rare. What is rare are true, actual high grade condition Butcher Covers. That holds true for both 2nd and 3rd states. We're not talking about unprofessional peels with ripped up trunk slicks with noticeable damage to the Butcher Slicks or Moldy Oldie badly stained or worn covers. Those are fairly common. The top 5% in nice condition are rare. But look closely at what is being offered for what price. Like real estate, condition condition condition.... While the market is currently getting flooded with overhyped peels with obvious scars/damage/residue etc, the good news for buyers is that this is one is a gorgeous unpeeled specimen. While many folks out there may like peeled jackets and aren't that picky about them being professionally performed or delivered with ripped up trunk slicks, there are some who actually believe these 2nd states shouldn't be peeled and are more valuable unpeeled than peeled. Certainly, these unpeeled Butcher Covers are becoming more and more rare as more get bludgeoned by ole ma and pa steam kettle peeling in the kitchen. This item will be safely and securely double boxed and shipped to you via Priority Mail. Condition: Front of Jacket: Front trunk Cover presents nicely overall with beautiful colors and a fairly white cover. There are a few spots of very mild age stains here and there but nothing that really takes away from the great overall presentation. Decent corner tips but is a slight discoloration on the top right corner tip of the trunk slick (see corner photos) An awesome example of this rare treasure. Ringo's black turtleneck (upside down triangle) is clearly visible under the white portion near the mouth edge. (Please see photos) Please see photos to verify specific condition and feel free to contact with questions. Seams: Both Top and Bottom seams are complete with no splits. (See seam Photos) To protect the future condition of the seams, a record should never be placed or stored in the jacket. Spine: Spine is complete with all spine printing complete. (See Spine photos). Back Of Jacket: The back of the jacket is very clean and mostly white and exhibits only the slightest wear or foxing and a few light stains at the very top. Nothing out of the ordinary for a nearly 60 year old album jacket. (see photo of back of jacket). Record/Inner Sleeve: Comes complete with an East Coast Coast mono pressing in VG+/EX condition. Orange 1966 Capitol East Coast inner sleeve with some typical bottom/side splits. Vinyl record will also be placed in a mobile fidelity original master sleeve.
