Description: SATO RACING Engine Sliders for 2009-20 Yamaha VMAX 1700 (part# Y-VMAX09ES-BK), features tough slider plates made out of high-density black DELRIN, an abrasion-resistant material with low friction properties ideal for protecting the engine case, exhaust pipes and surrounding parts from touching the pavement if you slide it, with the slider plates absorbing and dissipating any potential damage. Installs over the engine case on both sides with precision machined billet aluminum brackets and spacers, and stainless steel bolts. It should also be noted that the slider puck material is very hard so it can perform well in an extended slide, but the rigid nature of the design means it might not be the most effective protection in a kickstand fallover and other hard falls with blunt force impact.
