Description: Spectacular 8" crystal clear Versailles Vase by Saint-Louis. Made in France. Circa 1950 - 1970's as indicated by the etched backstamp. Excellent pre-owned condition. Mint! Very clear and brilliant. No scratches, chips or cracks. There are four felt protector pads on the bottom of the vase. The vase measures about 8" high and is 6.25" wide at the opening and 3.5" square at the base. As stated on the web site, "The Versailles vase was created in 1921. Born of an incandescent ball of glass, it tests the glassblowers' and engravers' strength and precision: no less than seven or eight weeks of work are necessary for the creation of its largest model.
