A very unusual bowl. An older mid century estate piece. The black matt glaze over red ware terracotta pottery is well done, hand coiled, with a needle basket top decorated with rafia tied rust colored beads. There is some sort of darker shadow pattern surrounding the pottery; a gray on gray. Beautifully made.In very good to excellent condition with no chips or cracks. May show very minor handling rub marks here or there. 4 " tall x 8 " body diameter with beads x 6 " rim diameter~ a striking addition to an ethnic pottery display ~
